Joseph & Jesus

Joseph is a type of Christ, based off Stephen's outline in Acts 7:9-14. They were Jealous 7:9, sold him  7:9, but became  Governor over all 7:10. Then Joseph made himself known to his brethren on the second visit 7:13, and brought his family to be with him in Egypt. Later Stephen says in the sermon, "you are doing just as your fathers did" 7;51. What they did to Jesus in the New Testament is what they did to Joseph in the Old Testament. Joseph is a shadow of Jesus. But there is so much more! (I was too tired to preach this lesson well, having just returned from a trip. Thank you for your patience :-).
